By using this website or making a booking, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions.
1. About RosCar Montenegro
RosCar Montenegro operates RosCar.me as a car rental comparison and booking platform. We provide access to rental offers from local and international car rental companies operating in Montenegro.
RosCar Montenegro acts as an intermediary and does not normally supply the rental vehicle directly. The selected rental company is responsible for providing the vehicle and fulfilling the rental agreement.
2. Car Rental Services
Customers may search for and book rental vehicles at airports, city locations, hotels, apartments, or other agreed delivery points.
Available rental options may include:
- Car rental with no deposit
- Car rental without a credit card
- Cash payment at pickup
- Debit card payment
- Unlimited mileage
- Free cancellation
- Basic insurance or full coverage
- Child car seat
- Additional driver
- Airport pickup
- Hotel or city delivery
The availability of each option depends on the selected vehicle, rental company, location, rental period, driver requirements, and rate conditions.
3. Booking Process
To make a booking, the customer must:
- Select the pickup and return locations
- Enter the rental dates and times
- Choose a vehicle category
- Select additional options such as no deposit, no credit card, insurance, or a child car seat
- Provide the main driver’s contact details
- Review and accept the rental conditions
- Pay the required advance amount
An advance payment of approximately 15% to 20% of the booking price may be required to confirm the reservation. The exact amount is displayed during the booking process.
After the booking is confirmed, the customer receives a voucher by email. The voucher may contain the rental company’s contact details, payment information, pickup instructions, required documents, and meeting point details.
4. Prices and Payments
Rental prices are based on the information available at the time of booking. Prices may depend on the vehicle, location, rental dates, insurance, mileage policy, driver age, additional services, and seasonal demand.
The booking price may include an online advance payment and a remaining balance payable directly to the rental company at pickup.
Depending on the selected offer, the remaining balance may be paid:
- In cash
- By debit card
- By credit card
Customers must review the accepted payment methods before confirming the booking.
5. No Deposit and No Credit Card Offers
Selected vehicles may be available without a security deposit or without a credit card. These conditions do not apply automatically to every rental offer.
The customer must select an offer that specifically states “No Deposit” or “No Credit Card” and review its complete conditions before booking.
A debit card, cash payment, identification document, online advance payment, or other form of verification may still be required.
6. Driver Requirements
The main driver and any additional driver must meet the age, driving experience, and document requirements of the selected rental company.
Required documents may include:
- A valid passport or identity document
- A valid driving licence
- An international driving permit when required
- The booking voucher
- An accepted payment method
The rental company may refuse to provide the vehicle if the customer does not meet the stated requirements.
7. Vehicle Pickup and Delivery
Vehicles may be collected at Podgorica Airport, Tivat Airport, a rental office, hotel, apartment, or another agreed location.
The customer must arrive at the agreed time and provide the required documents. Flight delays or changes should be reported to the rental company as soon as possible.
Hotel, airport, or city delivery may be subject to availability and additional fees.
8. Vehicle Category and Availability
Bookings are generally confirmed for a vehicle category rather than a specific make, model, colour, or year.
If the selected vehicle is unavailable, the rental company may provide a similar or higher-category vehicle. Availability depends on the rental company’s fleet at the time of pickup.
9. Insurance and Full Coverage
Rental offers may include basic insurance or allow the customer to purchase full coverage.
Insurance conditions, exclusions, excess amounts, coverage limits, and claim procedures depend on the selected rental company or insurance provider.
The customer must inspect the vehicle at pickup and ensure that existing damage is recorded before accepting the car.
10. Cancellation and Changes
Cancellation and amendment conditions depend on the selected offer. Some bookings may include free cancellation before a specified deadline.
Late cancellations, no-shows, or cancellations after the permitted deadline may result in the loss of the advance payment or other charges.
Car rental bookings for specific dates do not necessarily include an automatic right to cancel. The cancellation policy shown during booking applies.
Requests to change dates, locations, vehicle categories, or driver details are subject to availability and may affect the rental price.
11. Unlimited Mileage
Unlimited mileage is available only when expressly stated in the selected rental offer.
Other offers may include a daily or total mileage limit. Additional charges may apply if the customer exceeds the included mileage.
12. Fuel, Fines, Tolls, and Additional Charges
The customer must follow the fuel policy stated in the rental agreement and return the vehicle with the required fuel level.
The customer is responsible for traffic fines, parking charges, tolls, missing fuel, late return, excessive cleaning, lost keys, and damage not covered by the selected insurance.
The rental company may charge administrative fees related to fines, damage, or violations of the rental agreement.
13. Cross Border and One Way Rentals
Cross border travel and one way rentals are permitted only with prior approval from the rental company.
Additional insurance, documents, permits, deposits, or fees may be required. The customer must inform the rental company about any planned international travel before collecting the vehicle.
14. Responsibilities of RosCar Montenegro
RosCar Montenegro provides booking and comparison services and transfers the customer’s booking information to the selected rental company.
RosCar Montenegro is not responsible for:
- The condition or operation of the rental vehicle
- Vehicle substitutions made by the rental company
- Traffic fines, tolls, parking fees, or fuel charges
- Damage caused during the rental period
- Services or charges not included in the confirmed booking
- Delays caused by traffic, weather, border controls, or flight changes
- The customer’s failure to meet the rental requirements
Nothing in these Terms excludes any rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
15. Responsibilities of the Customer
The customer must provide accurate booking information, review the rental conditions, carry the required documents, use the vehicle responsibly, and comply with traffic laws.
The customer must immediately inform the rental company about accidents, damage, theft, breakdowns, or other incidents involving the vehicle.
16. Complaints
Problems related to vehicle pickup, condition, damage, payment, or return should be reported immediately to the rental company using the contact details shown in the booking voucher.
Customers may also contact RosCar Montenegro at [email protected]. We will assist with communication where reasonably possible but cannot guarantee a specific outcome when the matter is controlled by the rental company.
17. Website Use
Customers must not misuse the website, provide false information, interfere with website security, attempt unauthorised access, or use the website for unlawful purposes.
Website content, prices, vehicles, and availability may be changed or updated without prior notice.
18. Changes to These Terms
RosCar Montenegro may update these Terms and Conditions when services, partners, booking processes, or legal requirements change.
The latest version will be published on this page with an updated revision date.
